Hello my lovely readers!
I'm sitting in a library at Valdosta State University and really thinking about what is coming up. My summer honors program comes to an end in a week, then I return home for two weeks to prepare for my exchange. It's absolutely crazy that I only have three weeks left. Quoting a friend from facebook, "Und plötzlich sind es nur noch 19 Tage bis zum Flug! :O :) Jetzt gehen die Tage so schnell vorbei... Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass es vor kurzem noch 112 Tage waren ;)" meaning something along the lines of, "And suddenly, it's only 19 until the flight! The days are going by so quickly. I can hardly believe that there used to be 112 days left". I saw this and smiled. I remember standing in the kitchen with my mom and reading off my countdown, "112 until Flight to Germany". I was so excited. And now, the count down is in the 20's..
I have been writing my host mom still. She has been super nice and reassuring. They recently had their chicken eggs hatch and have been working with that lately. Reading that made me even more excited since I've always wanted to experience the rural life. Suburban Georgia is great and all, but this is really how I want to see somethings (:
Also, the younger two of my three host sisters just had their graduation ceremony! So that's really exciting news!
In terms of legitimate planning though. My host mom has just sent me a suggestion for a bank account. Once I get that solidified, I can write more about it in case anyone is interested.
So, have a great day and you'll be hearing from me in about three weeks!

My school! How nifty is this??Ps. Just a note on my mentality. I think the hardest thing I have have to go through having already been to Germany is that I am attached to where I was last time, Chemnitz. So it has been really hard to see people being placed there and around there. Part of me really wishes to be there again and really live there as a student rather than a two-week student. Then the other part is really happy to see other part. I just have to work on finding the kind balance between the two.. (:
