So, I finished my secondary application last week and sent it in! This is what the program uses to find a host family match. It does feel more real with every passing day.. Once I have a host family, I feel like it'll finally hit me (:
With this application, it's really important to be honest. I've really stressed that before but I will again. You WANT to ENJOY your time abroad, not to be placed in a family that isn't your type, so to say. I can take blame for initially trying to "place myself" where I was attached. But I went back, and fixed it. I think it's more important to enjoy the family and your "home" rather than just the city.
Also! I've been talking with my county and it may turn out that I'll get credit for the work I do in Germany! I have just a couple more emails to do, then I should really know! Gosh... That would just be fantastic! If that doesn't work though, I want to dual enroll at Kennesaw State and finish out all my high school credit and get college credit for it! Whoo! It's a lot to do, but it'll be great!
